Christmas Cookie Award: Reel Award

Movie Reel Award

Materials:

• Glue 
• Paper              
• Hot glue           
• Tissue paper                
• Metallic pipe cleaners
• Silver acrylic paint    
• Cereal box or some kind of thin cardboard  

Make the same bases that were created in the award trophy.

This is a very time consuming project as there are a lot of small details 

that need to be cut out and added

Cut out 2 circles for each award cut out sections to create reel.

Cut ¼ inch strips of card stock use to outline the reel and the small windows you have cut out.

You will also need ½ inch wide strips of cardboard to create a rind for the center of the 2 reels.

Paint both sides silver when dry attach center ring to create reel.

Cut slightly less than ½ inch strips of card stock glue 2 pieces end to end and paint it silver

On  half of the length of sliver painted strip draw a film pattern like this

Attach the un-drawn end onto the center ring and roll onto reel

Hot glue on top of your base, 

Write what the award is on the end of your film design and drape it across the reel attaching it with hot glue and the curling the end by rolling it up and letting it go.
